PLAYOFFS
The top 8 teams at the end of the 16 weeks will make playoffs.
If there is a tie for 8th then the additional team(s) will qualify for the playoffs. ***2026 Update/Clarification*** In the event of a tie, Round 1 of the playoffs will not be seeded and all qualifying teams will play 9 Hole Team Quota against the field. The top four teams will advance to Round 2. If there is a tie for 4th place during Round 1, the tying teams will play against each other in a sudden death playoff starting on Hole 1 and advancing until there is a winner. The format for the sudden death will be match play with strokes. If there is a tie for 2nd place during Round 2, this sudden death format also applies. In the event there is inclement weather or not enough daylight to complete a sudden death playoff, the Pro Shop, at their discretion, is permitted to do a card off starting with the handicap 1 hole.
After playoff week one only 4 teams will advance and after week 2 the 2 remaining teams will play for the championship.
Format of the playoffs will be standard Team Quota against the team in which you are seeded against. Seed 1 will play 8, 2 plays 7, 3 plays 6, 4 plays 5. Seeding will also be done for the semi-finals.
You seeded match outcome will determine whether you advance to the next round.
Example:
Seed 1 finishes -1 vs Seed 4 finishing +2
Seed 2 finishes -2 vs Seed 3 finishing -3
Seed 4 defeats Seed 1 in their match and advances, Seed 2 defeats Seed 3 in their match and advances
PLAYOFF QUALIFICATIONS
Your team will qualify if you post 14 scores. If you post 15 or 16 scores, your worst one or two scores will be dropped, respectively.
Rainouts are not counted against you and will not be considered “worst score”.
2026 Update/Clarification If a team does not show up for a total of 3 or more weeks during the season, they are ineligible for playoffs.
PACE OF PLAY/PENALTIES
Pace of play is of utmost importance. If you are out of the hole (double bogey) and your pace has slowed down, please pick up and move to the next tee.
If you or your partner are not ready at the time you are scheduled to tee off, your group must start play and the late player will join on your current hole when they arrive. Any holes missed during by a player will be counted as zero points. You are still required to make your full points for the round if you show up late.
***2026 Update*** If one or both members of a team cannot make their weekly tee time within the 330PM-545PM league window, they are not permitted to play at a different time and count their score to the weekly total. Exception: If both members need to shift their tee time due to life happening, they are permitted to do so during the league window with permission from the Pro Shop so long as they are playing with at least one other league member that week to act as a witness. At no point can one member of a team play at a different time from their partner and count it towards their weekly score, regardless of when they play their round. The non-offending partner is required to make 25% of their absent partners points during that week.
***2026 Update*** Playing from the wrong tees: This is defined as playing from the wrong tee for 2 or more holes during a single round of league play. Reporting this offense is based on an honor system so if you see something, say something. For the first offense, said team will not qualify for the weekly cash, however, their score will still count toward their season total. The second and subsequent offenses will result in a disqualification from the weekly cash and their score will be entered at their maximum quota calculated for that week.
PLAY TIMES
Teams will be grouped into Early, Middle and Late tee times
Early: 3:30 – 4:00 PM
Middle: 4:00 – 4:30 PM
Late: 4:30 – 5:45 PM
SCORECARDS
All scorecards must be turned into the Pro Shop for scoring each week. Each player is responsible for posting their own scores using the USGA GHIN app or website
Scoring can be found on website and in locker rooms each week
CANCELLATION
Cancellation due to weather will be announced by the pro shop by 3:00PM via email or phone call.
RAINOUTS/RESCHEDULING OF MATCHES
If we have rainouts, we will make every effort to schedule make-up dates and/or extend the season.
If there is inclement weather and the Pro Shop restricts the use of golf carts, this will be grounds for cancelling league play for the day.
DINING
Dining will be available after play each week and we encourage you to support the club. The after-match meal will apply to you monthly minimum, alcohol is excluded.
The Mid-season Theme Night, and Championship meal will be paid for with league funds.
INJURY / CONFLICTS
If a team that is currently in the league must take the season off due to injury, they are not guaranteed a spot back in the league the following season. They will be added to the top of the waitlist and admitted once there are spots available.
If a player gets injured during the first four weeks of the season and cannot play, a substitute player may be allowed to play and compete. This will be reviewed and decided upon on a case-by-case basis. All other injuries occurring later in the season will not be grounds for a substitute player to fill the spot and compete.
If you know there will be significant conflicts and need to drop from the league, you may do so up to week four and a substitute player may take your place for the remainder of the season. If this happens, the player that drops will not be allowed to play in the league for the remainder of the season. They can return the following season with their original partner. This will be reviewed and decided upon on a case-by-case basis.
***2026 Update*** Due to the long waitlist to join the league, if an active league member misses 5 or more weeks due to poor time management, they are eligible for relegation at the discretion of league management and the Pro Shop. If relegated, said person will be placed on the waitlist the following season and replaced with a member from the waitlist. The exception to this rule is if there is an injury resulting in absence.
